Philosopher Vilém Flusser’s statement ‘the image is eternal’ and the Christian belief that ‘God created man in his own image’ have been correlated with philosophical discourse around photography to form the basis of this body of work, which essentially explores and questions the notion of the soul while portraying the self as an object of Platonic Idealism and the body as its own image.
